Bio: Ann Cooper Penning (b. Ann Elizabeth Cooper, June 20 1922, Grand Rapids, Michigan-d. 2010?, Malaga, Spain), lawyer. Penning attended the University of Michigan Law School, graduating in 1955. She worked as an administrative assistant to Representative Martha W. Griffiths in Washington, D.C. before studying at the London School of Economics. She also worked as a lawyer for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Washington, D.C. Cooper retired from practicing law and moved to Malaga, Spain in the late 1980’s, where she lived until her death.
