Bio: James Durie Holverson (b. March 9, 1921, Clifton, Texas-d. August 2, 1986, McLennan County, Texas) was a resident of Texas. He attended Clifton High School and Clifton Junior College, both located in Clifton, Texas, and upon graduation from junior college he began working at the Cotton Belt Railway (also known as the St. Louis Southwestern Railway Company) in Tyler, Texas. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He is the son of Durie and Ruth Holverson. He married Billie Maxine Wynne in 1943, they had one son. Holverson is interred in Clifton Cemetery in Clifton, Texas.
