Bio: Kenneth Milton Birkhead (1914-1979), a democrat involved in many campaigns, was the Associate Director of Public Relations for the Research Division of the Democratic National Committee, during the 1948 presidential campaign. From 1961 to 1968, he was the Assistant to the Secretary of Agriculture for Congressional Liaison, and from 1969 to 1978 was the Legislative Director in the office of Senator Thomas McIntyre.
