Scope and content note:
This collection consists of 26 pages of correspondence and newspaper clippings reflecting the
friendship between John Govatos and Lyndon B

Finally, there are memorandums concerning the protocol for distribution of information
going through the Situation Room. The folder “McCafferty Memos to the President”
also contains a small amount of material from the early months of the Nixon
