Attached are the notes of your meeting with the Democratic
Leadership on October 23, 1967 in the Cabinet Room

The President went over the lists of legislation on which action is
needed and emphasized particularly Foreign Aid and Housing. I
provided the Leadership with copies of these lists.

all the election returns are not in yet and even though they have not been
inaugurated. The President said "instead of Dzu taking the headlines,
Thieu and Ky should fill the news
