room asking for the New Jersey polls )... then took it into the President. . .

house area and some of the other ranches .
During the ride, vm radioed the President twice -- 1.) Senate confirmation of John T. Connor
as the new Secretary of Commerce. 2.) to tell the President that in minutes
- tonight and that the Vietnam thing was taking much of his tim e
and wearing on him. H e introduced Secretary Ball (subbin g for Secy Rusk who
was iaaaesc in New York) who dealt exclusively with comment s on the political
and economic side of the Vietnam
- , and pinned th e medals on the winners
