at the request of the President, to serve as the new Co-Chairmen of the Lawyers'
Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. They succeed Harrison

National Committee. This is a fine pamphlet and the fact
that it would be used to "smear" President Johnson is one
of the real ironies of our present struggle.

brief report on the meeting held in Birmingham last
Friday, convened by the Alabama members of our National
Citizens Committee. This is the meeting
