The President rose during dinner and went into the office to read the latest
tickers. He picked up one about Luci and Pat
- /Harry McPherson's note. President started reading it and immediately told
Geo. Christian to see if he could get the VPresident back who obviously had been
with him at the Statler-Hilton.

- . The President was unhappy that they were not
at the Ranch waiting, and more unhappy when he found that they had not left Fredericksbu
yet.
The President read the backs of pictures purchased on the trip and then looked carefully
at the paintings.
