which you worked to set up the initial

The AF of L at that time was exclusively
made up of craft unions.
I don't want to give you a long lecture on
labor organization, but the craft unions were the skilled unions that
were organized by the craft

Let me ask you about a point in time.
Is this before the State of the Union
- , relatively, for me to raise hell about it, because what
the
hell!
Dean was deeply involved with Vietnam, an Arab-Israeli war, and
with Pueblo , and things like that, and why should I take up
his time with
things which, in the long run, were not truly
- . Senate as a staff director for the Labor
subcommittee.
Is that correct?
S:
Right.
M:
And you worked there from 1961 to 1963.
From that point as an
assistant to the Undersecretary of Commerce and also apparently at
the same time a director
- programs and in beautification, things which you are
associated with--desalination of water, the whole myriad.
L:
I'm interested in health programs because as a child I had poor health--
F:
This is in Wisconsin?
L:
In Wisconsin.
At one time I

Aimee Semple McPherson?
C:
Aimee Semple McPherson.
She was carrying a program every Sunday night
and I think one other time during the week, but anyway she had one, I
know, on Sunday night.
