the chandelier that came from Lyndon’s office, P-38 in the Capitol, that he sent down here

- Friends help Lady Bird decorate family quarters with books and Dorothy Doughty birds; Lady Bird puts out photos of JFK with Caroline, the Taylors and Johnsons; Lady Bird has business meeting with Sheldon Cohen and Walter Jenkins where they discuss

a delicious Christmas dinner, not cooked by Zephyr, but Mr. [Henry] Haller
had come to our aid, a beautiful turkey and dressing

And then back to the Truman Balcony to meet Walter Reuther.
We had iced tea and I listened to him mostly.
