Bio: Ivan Earl Sinclair (b. February 19, 1937, Dimmitt, Castro County, Texas), staff assistant for Lyndon B. Johnson. He attended Hardin-Simmons University and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and worked as a newspaper reporter in Amarillo, Texas before joining the United States Army. Sinclair began working for Johnson in 1962, first as an Assistant for Correspondence answering public opinion mail, and later as a staff assistant doing advance work for trips.
