Bio: Walter W. Schaefer (b. August 7, 1906-d. April 8, 1983) was a Sergeant at Arms for the Texas State House of Representatives and served in the United States Army from 1940 to 1945. Schaefer is interred in the Der Stadt Friedhof Cemetery in Fredericksburg, Texas.
