Darling –
I just talked to Bill after hanging up the phone from talking to you. Bill said he would handle the Bobbitt business and had already been working on it. He said he thought he had it already arranged for Bobbitt to work here in Austin for NYA. That would be a marvelous solution as Bobbitt, Rebekah, and Mrs. Johnson could take our house and live here very comfortably and
2
reasonably.
They have all three already said they would like that and hoped such an arrangement could be worked out.
Huffman Jr. will be taken on by another agency if Bill’s plans work out.
Herbert will arrive Washington Wednesday morning on the B. & O. at 7:40. He is leaving on the Texas Special this morning.
Honey, did you know Burnet County was first in your ten counties in the proportionate votes for you? Hays second, Travis third, Blanco fourth??
Much love
L.B.J.
