Mon. Night
Darling:
Am on my way to see Lon Smith. I got back to Wash. Sat a.m. We will probably get away from here 8 or 9th. Plan to meet me in Houston or Brenham on 10th if you feel like it.
I love you and enjoy your letters so darn much that I should write more but I can’t keep up with all my duties the last month.
Welly has flu. Senator is going to Galveston to go to hospital for hemroids [sic] and stomach.
