Thursday
Darling –
Thanks a lot for the letter from Dallas. I’m glad you bought yourself some pretty things and am mad that I can’t see you wear them today--
It now looks as if we might get away from here Saturday. That means we may adjourn Sat nite. I’ll stay 2 or 3 wks to clear up all my pending business with the depts. but the quicker we adjourn the earlier I’ll be able to get to work down town.
Senator & Jim will both probably be here next week.

They will help a lot. I get terribly lonesome when I have no place to go at night.
I have a terrible headache today. No coffee this a.m. and no exercise in weeks.
I’m enjoying my robe a lot. Thank Aunt Effie and I’ll write also.
Love--Love
O O O O LBJ
Am enclosing some suggestions re house plan for what they are worth.
