Bio: Edward J. Pfeiffer, also known as Edward Janoskank Pfeiffer and Ede Janos Pfeiffer (b. May 5, 1936, Gyula, Hungary-d. March 15, 2006, Pasadena, California), was an author, professor, and resident of Arcadia and Pasadena, California. He attended Madach Gimnazium high school in Gyula, Hungary and the Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. Pfeiffer arrived in the United States in 1957 and was naturalized in 1962 in Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of Southern California and received a B.A. in International Relations in 1963; and Claremont Graduate University where he received an M.A. in 1967 and a PhD in 1982, both in American Government. He was a professor of political science and American government at various branches of the University of California. Pfeiffer is interred in Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia, California.
