Bio: Booth Mooney (1912-1977) was an editor, author, and close friend of President Lyndon B. Johnson. He worked as a speechwriter and executive assistant to Senator Lyndon Johnson from 1953 to 1958. He also wrote two biographies of Johnson, The Lyndon Johnson Story (1956) and LBJ: An Irreverent Chronicle (1976).
