Markham (1924-1966), special U.S. Marshal, was a member of the White House Special Projects staff from 1961 to 1963, and served as the Executive Director President's Advisory Commission on Narcotic and Drug Abuse in 1963. He was a Special Consultant to the President on Drug Abuse from 1964 to 1965, and Head of Washington office of Great Lakes Carbon Company from 1964 to 1966.
