Bio: Vivian Howard Hackney, also known as V. H. (b. November 24, 1907, Burleson, Texas-d. December 16, 1990, Gregg County, Texas), was a friend of Lady Bird Johnson and a resident of Marshall, Texas. He grew up in Dallas and graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1931. Hackney worked as a teacher and principal at Marshall High School, and as superintendent of the Marshall city schools. He is interred in Greenwood Cemetery in Marshall, Texas.
