Bio: William E. Berger, also known as Bill Berger, and also known as W. E. Berger, (b. June 6, 1918, Ferris, Illinois), journalist, newspaperman. He held positions with the Texas Water Quality Board, the State Insurance Commission and the Texas Railroad Commission. He was inducted into the Texas Newspaper Hall of Fame in 2011.
