Bio: Benjamin Anthony Bennett, Sr., also known as Ben A. Bennett (b. Nov. 24, 1921-d. Oct. 7, 2003) was a former chief of police, constable, and detective from Corpus Christi, Texas, and a county commissioner. He was a supporter of Texas Governor John Connally and Texas congressman James Jarrell Pickle.
